Description:
Subcontract Administrator with a strong background in subcontract management and some lead and/or supervisory experience to be accomplished within DoD prime contracts. As a Subcontract Administrator, one will administer subcontracting efforts supporting the Land and Electronic Systems business area located in California, MD. The selected candidate will solicit and evaluate proposals, negotiate and prepare complex subcontracts, monitor subcontractor performance, and document subcontract files in accordance with established procurement policies and procedures as well as be an integral part of a newly forming Business Management team.

Required Skills:
Requirements: Ability to acquire and maintain US government security clearance and/or Common Access Card (CAC) should it be required by the position. Ability to acquire and maintain corporate credit card should it be required by the position. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a related field and a minimum of one to two years, based on education, experience in subcontracts and/or contracts administration or procurement. Negotiation experience. Possession of excellent interpersonal skills to include oral and written communications. Knowledge of FAR/DFAR. Knowledge of CPFF, CPAF, T&M and FFP contracts. Experience with MS Office suite.

Preferences: Experience with DoD contracts. Price and cost analysis skills. Proposal preparation experience. CPSR audit experience. Proven supply chain accomplishments.

POSITION: Contracts Administrator – Contracts Administrator - RMC

Assistant to the director of contracts responsible for establishing and maintaining contract and subcontractor documentation and files; drafting and reviewing contractual documents such as NDAs and subcontract agreements and modifications; preparing cost estimates for proposals and other proposal support; preparing contract closeout documentation; reviewing and approving subcontractor invoices; maintaining and tracking government-furnished property (GFP), to include performing biannual GFP audits; preparing invoices; and providing general contracts administrative support. Candidate should have working knowledge of various types of government contracts, including CPFF, FFP, and T&M service type contracts and familiarity with the FAR and DFARS. Deltek GCS experience a plus.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business or a related field, 5 years contract administration experience in support of Government contracts, and the ability to obtain a top secret clearance.
